Integrative Yoga Psychotherapy
I provide a safe, non-judgemental therapeutic space where all parts of you are welcomed and all parts of you are heard. My entire therapeutic approach is compassion-focused, client- centred and collaborative, where you are central to your unique therapeutic plan.
I use a range of psychotherapeutic approaches (both talking and body-based techniques) combined with breath work, mindfulness, and yogic techniques to help re-balance and regulate your nervous system.
Whilst my main psychotherapeutic approaches are person-centred and Internal Family systems, I may also include approaches from psychodynamic, CBT, compassion-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, Gestalt therapy, transactional analysis, transpersonal therapy and various body-orientated psychotherapies, depending on what is best suited to your needs at each session.
Yogic techniques may include yoga postures, somatic movement and body-based enquiry, Eastern philosophy, breathwork, mindfulness, meditation and lifestyle management.
I believe I offer a unique and truly holistic integrative approach to mind body and soul, working alongside you to achieve balance on a physical, energetic, mental, emotional and spiritual level.
I hope to help you develop a sense of curiosity and exploration around the issues you would like to work with, increasing your capacity for self-awareness and self-understanding, and empowering you to live a more fulfilled life aligned with your true values
I will always work at a pace and depth to suit you. I work face-to-face in West Oxfordshire, and also offer online sessions.
My fee for a 60-minute session is £75. The initial session is an assessment session where we can discuss the issues that concern you, what you would like to achieve through psychotherapy, any questions you may have, how I work, and whether we are suited to working together. Sessions agreed thereafter will be subject to regular review (around every 6 sessions) to ensure you are getting what you want from your therapy sessions.
I feel privileged to be able to offer a unique and truly integrative approach to help balance mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health using various body-based and psychotherapeutic approaches, and incorporating eastern philosophy, western neuroscience, breath work, mindfulness, and the intuitive (felt) sense, within a compassionate, client-focused environment.
